Run the Keweenaw 2027
Run the Keweenaw is a multi event trail weekend held in Copper Harbor and nearby Eagle Harbor on Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. The program includes several distinct trail races and a youth run, with most Copper Harbor races starting and finishing at Grant Township Park and the Mt. Baldy Hillclimb beginning at the corner of Pine and Fourth Street in Eagle Harbor and finishing at the peak of Mt. Baldy (Lookout Mountain). Participants must return from the Mt. Baldy summit on their own as no transportation is provided.

- 6 km Mt. Baldy Summit Hillclimb (point-to-point)
- 10 km Copper Harbor Trails Challenge
- 10 km Copper Harbor Trails Non-Competitive Run/Hike
- 2 km Junior Trail Run
- 25 km Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run
Course notes state the 10 km Copper Harbor Trails Challenge includes Paul's Plunge, the Point Trail 1.0 and harbor views along Fort Wilkins rustic trails. The Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run uses custom singletrack on Brockway Mountain and trails below the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge.
Mt. Baldy Hillclimb is self supported and carrying water is recommended. The Copper Harbor Trails Challenge and the Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run provide aid stations.
Awards and prizes include locally made gifts for top three finishers by male and female in multiple age groups, door prizes at each event, and weekend overall awards for combined results among participants entering all three main weekend events.
