Run the Highlands 5K and Family Trail Walk
Run the Highlands on April 25, 2026 at 9449 Church Rd, Dallas, TX includes a USATF sanctioned 5K race and a 1‑mile family trail walk with entertainment along the route. A children's carnival with games and activities takes place after the event.

Packet pick-up is scheduled on the two days before the event at Vector Brewing, 9850 Walnut Hill Ln #405, with additional pickup on race day at the LHJWL tent near the starting area. Registration fees vary by date and by event. A youth discount of $5 for participants 12 and under is applied automatically at checkout.
Funds raised through registration, donations, and sponsorships are given directly back to Lake Highlands. Parking is available on neighborhood streets; some parking areas near the high school may be closed around the event and roads along the route will reopen later in the morning.
