Run The Boo 10K

Run The Boo 5K and Kids Race

Run The Boo is a Halloween themed running event held in Dillon, Montana on October 31, 2026. The event is organized by Montana Events Foundation and uses a start and finish location at Beaverhead Brewing Company, 218 S. Montana St. The 5K takes place on the streets of Dillon. The kids route is a one mile loop that travels via North Reeder Street, Pig Tail Trail, W Bannack Street and Montana Street.

Distances:

• 1 mile for kids age 10 and under
• 5K (3.1 miles) on the streets of Dillon

Packet pick-up occurs the morning of the race at Beaverhead Brewing Company and all participants must check in to receive a timing bib. The course will be marked with orange arrows, orange cones and orange painted streets. The event is a fundraiser for the Montana Events Foundation Scholarship; registration proceeds are donated to the University of Montana Western Foundation and scholarships are awarded to qualifying UMW students. The race has a no dog policy on the course, a no refund policy, and strollers are permitted. An award ceremony follows the completion of the races.
