Run The Block 5K
Run The Block 5K is the inaugural 5K run and walk organized by the South Fulton Run Club. The club was founded on March 13, 2025 in the City of South Fulton, Georgia. The event takes place on May 30, 2026 at Sandtown Plaza in Atlanta, GA, near 5829 Campbellton Rd SW.
The event is intended to bring people together through movement and to raise funds for the club's ongoing programs and initiatives. Proceeds will support the club's stated mission to make fitness accessible, inclusive, and impactful within the local community.
Registration opens on March 9, 2026 and closes on April 13, 2026. The registration fee is $35.00. Registration and packet pickup are handled on race morning and payment is by credit or debit card only.
Timing is provided by Elite Race Timing using gun and chip timing and RFID equipment. Results are published live shortly after finishing. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to age group places. All participants receive a finisher medal. The 5K has a time limit of 1 hour and 20 minutes; participants remaining on the course after that time will be asked to vacate the course.
All registrations are final and non transferable. There is no virtual option and there will be no mailing of bibs or medals. Sponsor information is provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
