Run Stephenson County takes place on October 17, 2026, in Orangeville, Illinois. The race is in its fourth year and serves as a fundraiser for the YMCA; proceeds support discounted YMCA programs and memberships. The race starts and finishes at a trailhead in Orangeville. Parking, packet pickup, and awards will be held adjacent to the Richland Creek Shelter.

Course, awards and support
The half marathon route has a flat start and finish with rolling hills in the middle. Organizers describe the 5K and 10K courses as designed to allow fast performances. Route files are available as downloadable PDFs and on Strava and Garmin. All participants receive a tech shirt. All half-marathon finishers receive a finisher medal; top finishers receive trophies. The 5K and 10K events offer overall and age group awards. Parking and awards will be located near the start area at the Richland Creek Shelter.
