Run Stephenson County
The Run Stephenson County event takes place in Orangeville, Illinois, starting and ending at the Jane Addams Trailhead. This athletic gathering features three distinct distances for participants:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
The Half Marathon course is characterized by a flat start and finish area, with rolling hills located throughout the middle section of the route. Both the 5K and 10K courses are designed with a flat profile intended to help participants achieve fast times. The routes pass through the countryside of Stephenson County.
Participants in all three distances receive a technical fabric shirt. Those completing the Half Marathon are awarded a finisher medal. Trophies are presented to the top finishers in the half marathon, while the 5K and 10K races provide awards for overall winners and specific age groups.
