Bulldog Bolt 5K and 1 Mile Walk
The Bulldog Bolt is scheduled for July 4, 2026 at Saelens Park in Durand, Illinois (200 S Center St). The event includes a timed 5K run and an untimed 1 mile walk held as part of the Durand 4th of July activities.
Distances offered:
- 5K timed run and walk, dog friendly
- 1 Mile walk only, untimed
The 5K includes age group awards with categories: Under 10; 11 - 14; 15 - 19; 20 - 24; 25 - 34; 35 - 44; 45 - 54; 55 - 64; 65 and over. U.S. military veterans have dedicated registration options and may register free of charge for the 1 mile or 5K. A Sponsor a Vet option is available with a $15 donation to cover a veteran participant's finisher shirt and medal.
Participants for 2026 are offered an official Bulldog Bolt shirt and finisher medal; those who register before June 15 are guaranteed those items. The event is hosted by Anytime Fitness Durand in partnership with DARTS, and proceeds support the Durand 4th of July Festival.
