Run Sandringham 24 is a 24-hour endurance event held within the grounds of the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Participants aim to complete as many laps as possible of a 5-mile route within the 24-hour time limit. The course features a mix of terrain, including woodland trails for the first 4 kilometers and road sections for the final stretch. The route offers views of the royal estate, parkland, and the surrounding countryside.
The event is open to individuals and groups, with entry options for:
- Solo runners
- Pairs
- Teams of up to 12 people
Participants can choose to run as many or as few laps as they wish throughout the duration of the event. To ensure safety, the use of head, hand, or chest torches is mandatory for all runners during night hours. Bone-conducting headphones are permitted, but in-ear headphones are not allowed. Solo runners must be 21 years or older, while those in pairs or teams must be at least 18.
The event village serves as the central hub, providing access to toilets, hot showers, and various food and drink facilities. On-site camping is available adjacent to the village, with specific pitch allocations based on team size. Additional amenities include chip timing, live music, sports massages, and official event photography. All participants receive a finisher's medal and a goody bag, while solo runners who complete 100 miles or more receive an engraved memento.
