George Munday 10k
The George Munday 10 km is in its tenth year and takes place in Leverington on Remembrance Sunday. The event includes a moving pre race tribute and a two minute silence before the run.
The course starts in the village of Leverington, follows fast, flat and quiet back roads toward the village of Newton, then circles back to finish at the Leverington Sports and Social Club. The route is described as fast and flat on country roads.
The event is presented in a club environment and is noted as suitable for runners aiming for a personal best as well as for those attempting their first 10 km. A limited edition t shirt has been produced for the tenth running; this item is available to preorder with entry and to collect on the day.
Parking is extremely limited and will be available on a first come first served basis, so car sharing is encouraged. Entries are non refundable and cannot be deferred. Transfers to another runner are permitted until midnight on 06/11/2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
