About the race
The Run Rabbit Trail Festival is a multi-distance weekend trail running event organised by Race Harborough. It is set on the Deene Park Estate near Corby and takes place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 May 2027. The festival combines racing with on-site festival activities and gathering spaces for runners. The event offers three separate challenges that can be entered individually or together as The Quest.
Completing all three gives a combined distance of 56.1 km and eligibility for the Carrot Dash and the Golden Carrot recognition. Medals are awarded to all finishers. Distances and formats: - Trail Mix Challenge - 25k: five different 5 km loops, one each hour. - Headlight Hop - 10k: an evening trail run on local trails. - Thump Trail Half - 21.1k: a scenic trail half marathon with hills and woodland. - Quest for the Golden Carrot - 56.1k: completion of all three challenges. Published entry fees for each event are stated as £45 for the Trail Mix Challenge, £25 for the Headlight Hop, £30 for the Thump Trail Half, and £80 for entry to all three. The organising team describes their ethos as delivering friendly, inclusive events at fair prices with minimal environmental impact. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
