Event Overview
The Run of the Mill 5k 2026 is an annual event taking place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The proceeds from the event support future programs and maintenance at Windmill Island Gardens in Holland, Michigan.
Course and Events
The 5k course starts at Windmill Island Gardens, goes around the island, heads out to Window on the Waterfront, and then loops back to the island for the finish. A separate youth event, the Mini Millers Kids Run, is also available. This event is for participants aged 10 and under and follows a 0.2-mile route around the gardens' main campus.
Registration Details
Registration for the 5k costs $30 per participant. This fee includes a finisher medal. Participants who register before March 27, 2026, also receive a race t-shirt, though shirts are not guaranteed after that date. All ages are welcome, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not permitted during the 5k. Registration for the Mini Millers run costs $15 per participant and includes a race ribbon and a t-shirt (also not guaranteed after March 27, 2026).
