Run Northumberland Morpeth 10K
The Run Northumberland Morpeth 10K takes place on 21 March 2027 alongside the Morpeth Half Marathon. The course follows parts of the Tranwell, Kirkley and Whalton loop from the former Kirkley event and will be held with full road closure. The route is undulating, on road, and traffic free.
Event details list chip timing, distance markers every kilometre, and a water station at 5 km. Race headquarters and registration are at the Market Place, 1 New Market, Morpeth NE61 1PX. Registration on race day is scheduled between 08:00 and 09:00. Minimum age for entry is 15. The event notes changing facilities, parking, first aid and refreshments at the venue.
Entries are limited to 100. An early bird entry fee of £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners applies for the first 100 entries; the same early entry offer includes 30% off race t-shirts for those entries. The published entry fees are £20 (affiliated) and £22 (unaffiliated). Entries close on 21 March 2027.
Finishers receive a medal. Individual prizes are awarded to the top three men and top three women. First veteran prizes are listed for M40+ and L35+ categories, subject to a minimum of five entrants in an age group.
