Run Northumberland Morpeth 10K
The Run Northumberland Morpeth 10K takes place in Morpeth on 21st March 2027 alongside the Morpeth Half Marathon. The road race follows parts of the Tranwell, Kirkley and Whalton loop from the earlier Kirkley event and will run with full road closure.
The event distance is 10K on road with an undulating profile. It is traffic free, uses chip timing, and has distance markers every kilometre. There is a water station at 5 km. Minimum age to enter is 15 and the event lists a moderate difficulty.
Event facilities are based at the Market Place in Morpeth, with registration and bag drop at the same location. Toilets are available at the start and finish. Changing facilities, parking, first aid and refreshments are provided on event day.
Prizes include a finisher medal, individual prizes for the top three men and women, first veteran in each age group where eligible, and team prizes for the first male and female teams (three club runners in club vests to count). Entry is limited to 100 places. Early bird entry fees of £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners apply to the first 100 entries, with a t-shirt discount for those entries.
