Run Northumberland Half Marathon
The Run Northumberland Half Marathon takes place in Matfen, United Kingdom. The event base is located at the Matfen Village Hall in Newcastle upon Tyne. The route utilizes roads similar to local 10 mile races but is designed to avoid the specific hills found on some shorter local 10k courses.
The race starts with a initial 5 km loop through the start and finish area. Following this, participants complete a two-lap undulating course that concludes on the village by-pass near the original start location. Registration and race pack collection occur on the day of the event at the Village Hall.

Participants receive a bespoke finisher's medal upon completion. Optional event T-shirts are available for an additional fee. The event provides several services, including water stations along the route, distance markers, and a bag drop area. Toilets are available on-site, and parking is located in a car park opposite Matfen Hall, close to the starting line. Results are tracked, and individual and team prizes are awarded.
