Run Northumberland Bamburgh 10K 2027
The Run Northumberland Bamburgh 10K takes place on 20 June 2027 on the Northumberland coast. The event is a single race over 10 km on an accurately measured, undulating road route that forms a closed road circuit. Chip timing will be used and the course is traffic free under a full road closure. The route passes close to Bamburgh Castle and starts and finishes just outside the village.
Event facilities include a race headquarters at the Cricket Pavilion, bag drop at the Pavilion, toilets at the Cricket Pavilion and the car park, and parking at Links Car Park. Distance markers are provided every 1 km and there is a water station at 5 km. Minimum age to compete is 15.
Entry details note an entries limit of 1000 and an entries closing date of 18 June 2027. Entry fees are listed as £25 for affiliated runners and £27 for unaffiliated runners. All finishers receive a medal and an optional race t shirt is available at extra cost. Prizes include trophies and vouchers for the top three men and women, age group prizes subject to a minimum of five runners per band, team prizes for affiliated clubs, and performance bonuses and record bonuses for fast finishing times.
