Run Northumberland Bamburgh 10K - 14 June 2026
The Run Northumberland Bamburgh 10K is a road race on the Northumberland coast in Bamburgh. The course is an accurately measured, undulating 10 km closed road circuit that starts and finishes just outside the village and provides views of Bamburgh Castle. The 2026 race will be listed on the World Athletics road race calendar for world rankings.
Chip timing will be used for results. All finishers will receive a medal and an optional race t shirt is available at extra cost. The route is traffic free with a full road closure from start to finish and is run on road surfaces.
Event facilities include a water station at 5 km, distance markers every 1 km, race HQ at the Cricket Pavilion, bag drop at the Pavilion, and toilets at the Cricket Pavilion and the car park. Parking is available at Links Car Park, Links Road. First aid cover will be provided.
Entries are limited to 1000 and the minimum age is 15. Affiliated entry fee is listed as £24.00 and unaffiliated entry fee as £26.00, with entries closing on 8th June 2026. Prizes include trophies and vouchers for overall places, age group awards, team prizes for UKA affiliated clubs, performance bonuses for specific times, and a £50 prize for a new race course record.
