Run Northumberland Bamburgh 10K - 14 June 2026

Run Northumberland Bamburgh 10K is a road race held on the Northumberland coast, starting and finishing just outside the village of Bamburgh with views of Bamburgh Castle. The course is an accurately measured, undulating, rolling route run on closed roads and will be listed on the World Athletics road race calendar for world rankings.

The event uses chip timing and provides finish-line positions based on gun time. All finishers receive a medal and an optional race t-shirt is available for an additional cost. The race operates under a full road closure from start to finish and has distance markers every 1 km. A water station is provided at 5 km.

Race administration is based at the Pavilion / Cricket Pavilion in Bamburgh. Facilities on the day include registration, bag drop and toilets; parking is available at Links Car Park, Links Road. The minimum entry age is 15 and entries are limited to 1,000 participants. Entry fees for 2026 are listed as £24 for affiliated runners and £26 for unaffiliated runners; entries close on 8 June 2026.

Prizes include trophies and vouchers for overall top finishers, age-group awards subject to minimum finishers, team prizes for UKA-affiliated clubs, performance bonuses for certain finishing times and a bonus for new course records. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
