Run Northumberland Bamburgh 10K 14 June 2026
The event is a chip timed 10K set on an accurately measured, undulating road course on the Northumberland coast. The route starts and finishes near the village and offers views of Bamburgh Castle. The race will be held on a closed road circuit and will appear on the World Athletics road race calendar for world rankings.
Entry is limited to 1000 runners. Entry fees are listed as £24 for affiliated entrants and £26 for unaffiliated entrants. Entries close on 8 June 2026. Minimum age to enter is 15.
Facilities and event services are based at the Cricket Pavilion in Bamburgh. Registration and bag drop take place at the Pavilion. Toilets are available at the Pavilion and at the car park. Parking is at Links Car Park, Links Road. A water station is provided at 5 km and distance markers are placed every 1 km. Chip timing is in use and full road closure applies from start to finish.
All finishers receive a medal and an optional race t shirt is available at extra cost. Individual prizes include trophies and vouchers for the top three male and female finishers. Age group prizes are awarded in five year bands where at least five runners qualify. Team prizes apply to UKA affiliated clubs and runners must wear a club vest to qualify.
