Pilgrims' Ultra - St Oswald's Way, Northumberland
Pilgrims' Ultra is an ultra-distance trail race held on 11 September 2027 that follows the St Oswald’s Way coastal route in Northumberland. The route starts on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and passes sandy beaches, coastal scenery and inland sections.

The course finishes at Craster for the 50 km, at Rothbury for the 100 km and at Heaven Field for the 100 mile. The route is waymarked for the majority of the trail, but some short sections require self-navigation. Competitors receive a waterproof course map at registration and are issued with a GPS tracker for live tracking; a GPX file is also available for electronic navigation.
Mandatory kit is required and further details are provided by the organiser. Off-road trainers or trail shoes are recommended because almost all routes run on footpaths and trails with stiles and uneven ground. The entry fee includes live GPS tracking, timing, a T-shirt and a medal, plus fully stocked aid stations, race support and medical cover. Transport from the race finish to the start is available for a charge.
Entries close 14 days before the race or when capacity is reached. There is a 7 day cooling-off period for full refunds; after that no refunds or deferrals are permitted. The organiser may modify, postpone or cancel the event for safety or force majeure; entries will be carried forward if a new date is set, and competitors are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
