Event details
Pilgrims’ Ultra is an ultramarathon held on Saturday 26 September 2026 on the St. Oswalds Way route in Northumberland. The event starts on Holy Island (TD15 2SQ) and offers three distance options:
- 50k finishing at Craster
- 100k finishing at Rothbury
- 100 mile finishing at Chollerford
The route follows coastal sections including islands and castles, then continues inland across countryside and areas near Hadrian's Wall.
Logistics and entries
Entries open 24 September 2025 and close 13 September 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. Entry fees (UKA affiliated / non-affiliated) are: 50k - £70 / £72; 100k - £125 / £127; 100 mile - £160 / £162, plus a 6% booking fee. The entry list shows 32 participants so far. All distances are fully tracked. Finishers receive a medal and a t-shirt. A bus transfer is provided from each finish location back to the start on the morning of the race. The organizer is Cold Brew Events Ltd. The event offers an optional XCover product that may allow a refund for unforeseen inability to attend.
