Pilgrims’ Ultra

Pilgrims’ Ultra is an ultramarathon event on St Oswald’s Way in Northumberland, based at Holy Island. The event offers three distance options and follows coastal and inland sections of the famous route, passing beaches, islands, castles, river valleys, hills, villages, forests and farmland on the way toward Hadrian’s Wall.

Start and finish locations are specific to each distance. Distances available:

50 km - finish Craster
100 km - finish Rothbury
100 mile - finish Chollerford

All distances are fully tracked. Finishers receive a T shirt and a medal. Bus transfers run from each finish location back to the start on the morning of the race. The minimum age to enter is 18. Entries open 24 September 2025 and close 13 September 2026. The event is organised by Cold Brew Events and takes place in Northumberland, starting on Holy Island, TD15 2SQ.
