Pilgrims’ Ultra
The Pilgrims’ Ultra is a long-distance running event organized by Cold Brew Events Ltd, taking place in Northumberland. The race follows the St Oswalds Way route, beginning at Holy Island. Participants traverse diverse landscapes, including the coastline with views of islands and castles, before moving inland across countryside, river valleys, hills, forests, and farmlands toward Hadrian's Wall.
The event features three distinct ultramarathon distances:
- 50k: Course finishes in Craster.
- 100k: Course finishes in Rothbury.
- 100 mile: Course finishes in Chollerford.
All participants across all distances are fully tracked throughout the race. The event is open to individuals aged 18 or older. Runners who complete their chosen distance receive a medal and a t-shirt.
Logistics for the event include a bus transfer service provided on the morning of the race. This transport takes participants from their respective finish locations at Craster, Rothbury, or Chollerford to the starting line at Holy Island. Registration for the event typically opens one year in advance. Participants have the option to enter as affiliated or non-affiliated runners.
