Run Newcastle Valentines takes place on 15 February 2026 on Newcastle’s Town Moor with Race HQ at Exhibition Park, Claremont Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. The courses are traffic-free, on mainly tarmac paths, and are described as flat. The event supports the charity LiveLifeGiveLife; one pound from each T-shirt sale will be donated.
Race details
- 5K : one lap on tarmac paths; minimum age 11; affiliated entry £14, unaffiliated £16.
- 10K : two laps of the 5K course; minimum age 15; affiliated entry £24, unaffiliated £26.
- Half-Marathon : just over four laps of the 5K course; minimum age 17; affiliated entry £28, unaffiliated £30.
- Couples Relay (5K) : two-person relay, each runner completes one 5K lap; minimum age 11; affiliated entry £14, unaffiliated £16.
Additional facts: entries close on 11 February 2026 and each race has an entry limit (5K 125, 10K 1000, Half 300, Relay 100). Chip timing is used; distance markers are provided (every kilometre for 5K/10K, every mile for the half marathon). Water is available at specified points (5K finish; 10K at 5km and finish; half marathon every 3 miles). Prizes include finisher medals, monetary awards for top three male and female finishers, and team prizes where stated.
