Love to Run Newcastle - Valentines 10k 2027
This event takes place on Sunday 14 February 2027 on Newcastle's Town Moor with race HQ at Exhibition Park, Claremont Road. The organiser offers multiple distance options on a flat, traffic-free road course with distance markers every kilometre.
Distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Couples Relay where each runner covers a 5K leg
Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport. Water is available at 5 km and at the finish. Every finisher receives a bespoke medal. There are individual prizes for the first three male and female finishers and age-group veteran prizes, plus team prizes for club teams meeting entry requirements. Prize amounts and age-group rules are published by the organiser.
Practical arrangements include registration at Wylam Brewery, bag drop near the Exhibition Park entrance to the Town Moor, toilets at race HQ, first aid provision, and refreshments. Parking is available at Claremont Road Car Park.
Entry fees differ for affiliated and unaffiliated runners, entries are limited to 1000, and the closing date for entries is 12 February 2027. Entries are accepted on the day for an additional fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
