Run Newcastle Valentines 2026
Run Newcastle Valentines is a set of traffic free road races held on Newcastle’s Town Moor on 15th February 2026. The event uses mainly tarmac paths and an officially measured course licensed by Run Britain. All races use chip timing and include on course distance markers and water stations as listed for each distance.
The event is based at Exhibition Park, Claremont Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. Race headquarters and registration are at the Palace of Arts / Wylam Brewery area with bag drop and toilets by the entrance from Exhibition Park to the Town Moor. Entries close on 11th February 2026 and several events have an entry limit; some races also accept cash entries on the day where spaces remain. The organisers support the charity LiveLifeGiveLife with a donation from T shirt sales.
Distances
- Half-Marathon - just over four laps of the 5 km circuit, flat and traffic free
- 10K - two laps of the measured 5 km circuit, flat and traffic free
- 5K - one lap of the measured course on mainly tarmac paths
- Couples Relay 5K - two person relay, each runner completes one lap
