Run Newcastle Valentines 2026
Run Newcastle Valentines takes place on 15th February 2026 on Newcastle’s Town Moor with race headquarters at Exhibition Park, Claremont Road. The event uses an officially measured course with a Run Britain licence. The traffic free route runs mainly on tarmac paths around the Moor and is described as flat. Chip timing is used and distance markers are provided.
Distances included in the programme:
- 5K, one lap of the course
- 10K, two laps of the course
- Half Marathon, just over four laps
- Couples Relay 5K, one lap per runner
Event services and facilities listed for race day include registration at Wylam Brewery (Palace of Arts), bag drop by the Exhibition Park entrance to the Moor, toilets, changing facilities, first aid and parking at Claremont Road Car Park. Water provisions vary by race: bottled water is available at the finish for shorter races, at 5 km and the finish for the 10K, and approximately every 3 miles for the half marathon. Distance markers are provided every kilometre for the shorter races and every mile for the half.
