Event overview
The Project Graduation Run N Done event takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Denham Springs, LA. The venue is Kidz Korner Playground, 979 Government Street, Denham Springs 70726. The race course runs along historic River Road in Denham Springs. The event is presented by the 2026 Project Graduation team and includes the following distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K Run/Walk
Medals will be awarded to the top 100 finishers in the 5K and to the top 25 children in the 1 Mile. Tee-shirts are provided to participants who register by February 15. All net proceeds beyond administrative costs will be donated to the 2026 Denham Springs Project Graduation.
Registration, fees and awards
Registration is open to ages 1 through 100. The 5K and 1 Mile have a tiered fee schedule by registration date:
- Early August (8/1–8/9): $15 (1-mile), $25 (5K)
- Mid Aug–Nov (8/10–11/30): $20 (1-mile), $30 (5K)
- Dec–Feb 15 (12/1–2/15): $25 (1-mile), $35 (5K)
- Feb 16–Feb 28: $25 (1-mile), $40 (5K)
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, February 27 at Abundant Life Church, 206 Edgewood Dr, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Age-group awards are defined as follows:
- 1 Mile age groups: 5 and under; 6-7; 8-9; 10-11; 12-14.
- 5K age groups: 18 and under; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over (additional group added if needed).
