Run Media City 5k and 10k
The Run Media City series returns to Salford on Thursday, 28th May 2026. This evening event takes place within the Media City UK complex, with the race village, start line, and finish line all located in the Lowry Plaza.
The course consists of a 2.5 km loop. Participants complete multiple laps of this circuit depending on their chosen distance. The route takes runners over the Millennium Bridge and past several notable landmarks, including the Imperial War Museum North and the television studios of the BBC and ITV.

- 10 km
Participants have the option to purchase an official event t-shirt at the time of entry. These shirts feature the event logo on the chest as a commemorative item of the race.
