The Run Media City 5K & 10K takes place on Thursday 25th September 2025 at MediaCity UK, Salford M50 2EQ. The event is organised by RunThrough UK and was booked 274 times in the last month. Standard entry prices are £28 for each distance; a technical T-shirt can be added for an extra £12 (listed as a +£12 option), and a group booking of six places is available for £130.

Course and included services
The course uses a roughly 2.5 km loop within the centre of MediaCity. The route runs over the canal and passes the Imperial War Museum, the ITV studios and the BBC studios. The 5K comprises two laps and the 10K comprises four laps. The course follows paths and pavements inside MediaCity, is described as flat, and is not a closed road race. Each kilometre is marked and event staff are placed on course.
