Event Overview
The Run into Summer 5K is an annual athletic event held at Pier A in Hoboken, New Jersey. The 14th edition of this event supports the Hoboken Catholic Academy and features a flat and fast course along the waterfront at 100 Sinatra Drive. Participants can choose between two main distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The courses are managed by volunteers who provide direction and safety support for all runners. Medical staff from EMS are present on-site for emergency services.
Race Details and Logistics
The timing for all competitive events is recorded using gun time. Hydration is provided via water stations located both along the course and at the finish line. Results are posted at the race site following the conclusion of the runs.
Participants can collect their race packets at the Hoboken Catholic Academy the day before the event. The organizers also permit third-party pickup for those unable to attend the scheduled session. While registration is available on the day of the event, timed results and race shirts are subject to availability for late registrants.
Awards and Categories
Awards are presented based on gun time rankings. Categories include the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K. Specific categories also exist for students of the Hoboken Catholic Academy, including the top male and female finishers in both the 5K kids race and the 1 mile race.
