Run from the Cops - Williamston
Run from the Cops is a family-oriented fun run held as part of Williamston’s National Night Out at McCormick Park. The event uses a short course of about 500 m where participants are playfully chased by local law enforcement as part of the activity.
The program includes separate children and adult races. Kids 12 and under have free entry. Registration opens May 6, 2026 and closes July 20, 2026. The registration fee is $20. Proceeds from the event will support local law enforcement.
The run takes place alongside National Night Out activities at McCormick Park. Additional features on site include first responder vehicles and equipment to view, a live DJ at the bandshell, a petting zoo, a water splash area for children when weather permits, free hot dogs, vendors and community organizations, giveaways, and appearances by costumed mascots.
