Run for the Trees: Happy Little 5K
Run for the Trees: Happy Little 5K is a 5k event held on April 18, 2026 at Sandy Point State Park, East Beach, in Annapolis, Maryland. This live event is presented as an extension of the national Bob Ross Happy Little Run for the Trees virtual 5K and a virtual participation option is available.
The race is chip timed and awards are given to top finishers overall and by age group; runners who place top three overall are not eligible to also win their age group. Points from this event count toward the organizer’s Year Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Spring Series. Registration includes the park entrance fee.
Course support details include at least one water station roughly midway along the 5k course and onsite restrooms. Live race results are posted online and a QR code at the event provides immediate access to results. Volunteer roles are assigned on race morning and packet pickup is available at the event.
