Run for the Trees 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run - Madrid
The event takes place on April 25, 2026 with a rain date of April 26, 2026 at the Iowa Arboretum & Gardens in Madrid, IA. Routes use well-maintained trails around the arboretum campus and pass through the Treehouse Village area.

- Kids Fun Run on the Treehouse Village loop for ages up to 12

- Family entry for up to two guardians and two children aged 6 to 12
Run/Walk registration includes a t-shirt, race bib, swag bag, snacks and a tree seedling. Participants who register by April 9, 2026 at noon are guaranteed an official event t-shirt; only paid registrants receive a shirt. Early registration pricing applies through April 9 for standard entries; a later registration window through April 24 offers no-shirt options at reduced or equivalent fees.
