Run For The Rock - Bridgeport, CT
Run For The Rock is a neighborhood event held in the Black Rock area of Bridgeport on June 14, 2026. It features a chip-timed 5K and a short free kids run. Registration is online only and the field for the 5K is limited to 450 participants; if the event is sold out there will be no race-day paper or cash registration.
Distances:
- 5K for adults and youth divisions, run or walk.
- 5K for participants 18 years old and younger only.
- 400 yards free kids fun run for ages 8 and under.
Entry fees include a race T-shirt. Early-bird fees apply through March 31 with scheduled fee increases on April 1 and June 8. There is no refund of registration fees. Early shirt and bib pickup is offered at nearby locations in the days before the event and at event morning.
Course notes: mostly flat with water views and one hill at about 2.2 miles, quiet roads, and at least one water table on course. Participants use bib chip timing; bibs must be pinned on the front and should not be exchanged. Awards include overall gift card prizes for top three finishers male and female and medals for top three in each age division. The event maintains a charity commitment even if the format changes.
