Run For The Rock - Bridgeport, CT
Run For The Rock is a neighborhood event held in Black Rock, Bridgeport on June 14, 2026. The event includes community races tied to the neighborhood’s history and Black Rock Day weekend. Entry for the 5K includes a commemorative T-shirt with pickup available before the event or on race morning; there is no delivery if the participant misses the race.

Registration opens February 6. Early bird fees apply through March 31, with fee increases on April 1 and June 8. Registration is online only and subject to a 450-person limit for the 5K. No refunds are offered. Online on-site registration is possible only if the event is not sold out; no paper or cash registration is accepted.
The 5K is chip timed. Bibs must be pinned on the front of clothing and may not be exchanged between people; organizers can change bibs before the start if needed. Overall awards include gift cards for top finishers and age-group medals; award pickup is required in person or by a representative. Leftover awards will be available at Marathon Sports until June 30.
The course features water views, is mostly flat with one hill around 2.2 miles, and has at least one water table on course. Participants are advised to hydrate and follow on-course safety guidance, including announcing passes and avoiding headphones that block ambient sounds.
