Run for the River - Hunter River, PE
Run for the River is a walk/run fundraiser held on the Confederation Trail, based at Kent. G. Ellis Heritage Park in Hunter River, PE. The event takes place on May 16, 2026 and is organized by the PEI Roadrunners Club.
Participants follow an out-and-back route: they go 2.5 km down the trail, turn at the designated halfway point, and return to complete a total distance of 5 km. The trail is described as relatively flat and straight.
The PEI Roadrunners Club's mandate is to promote the sport of running on PEI and to encourage Islanders to adopt a healthy, active lifestyle.
