About the race
The Run For The Ribbons is the 16th annual 5K and one mile event held in Boca Raton at the Lynn Cancer Institute (701 NW 13th Street, Boca Raton, FL 33486). The event uses a certified 5K course that starts and finishes at the Lynn Cancer Institute and runs through the Old Floresta neighborhood. A separate one mile course also starts and finishes at the Lynn Cancer Institute.

All finishers receive a finisher medal. Chip timing is used and official results are provided for all finishers. Race awards include top three overall for men and women, top three Boca Regional Physicians and employees for men and women, and top three finishers in five-year age groups plus the listed youth brackets (10 and under; 11–14; 15–19) continuing up to 70 and older.
Standard registration information lists a base fee of $35 with a reduced youth fee noted for ages 17 and under. Discounts are available for Boca Regional and Bethesda employees, for Baptist employee categories, and for teams of five or more. T shirts are guaranteed only to the first 750 registered participants and exact sizes are not guaranteed.
