Run for the Red, White & Blue 5K/1K - 14th Annual
The event takes place on May 23, 2026 at the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum, 701 Kansas Lane, Monroe, LA 71203. It is held each Memorial Day weekend to support the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum (CAMM).

The course begins and ends at the museum and is described as flat and well surfaced. Participants pass through the Flags of Freedom during the final quarter mile. Race timing is provided by McDuffie Timing of West Monroe.
Registration opens January 1, 2026. Registration deadlines vary by event: the 5K registration closes May 10, 2026; the 1K registration closes May 21, 2026; the virtual registration closes May 23, 2026; Flags of Freedom sponsorship registration closes May 20, 2026. Entry fees are $25 for the 5K, 1K, and virtual options, and $100 for a Flags of Freedom sponsorship. Participants registered by May 9, 2026 receive an official 2026 race t-shirt.
All 5K and 1K finishers receive a custom dog tag. Proceeds benefit CAMM. Free tours of the museum are available during and after the events, and planes are on display at the museum’s Aviation Park & Pavilion. Sponsors who fund a Flags of Freedom receive a sign placed at the base of the sponsored flag; signs are displayed at the museum during Memorial Day weekend and sponsors will be contacted to provide sign information.
