Event Details
The Run for the Red, White & Blue is a running event taking place on Memorial Day weekend. It includes both a 5K and a 1K run/walk, as well as a virtual race option. All proceeds from the race benefit the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum (CAMM).
Course and Location
The course is described as flat, fast, and well surfaced. The race starts and finishes at the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum, located at 701 Kansas Lane in Monroe, Louisiana. Participants pass through the Flags of Freedom display for the final quarter mile of the course.
Additional Activities
Free tours of the museum are offered during and after the running events. Visitors can also see aircraft at the museum's new Aviation Park & Pavilion. A separate "Flags of Freedom Sponsorship" event allows individuals to sponsor one of the flags displayed on the course.
Practical Information
