Run For The Pumpkin - 20 September 2025
Run For The Pumpkin takes place on 20 September 2025 in Lethbridge. This is the 38th edition, organized by the Kodiaks cross country and indoor track programs, and held in conjunction with the ACAC Grand Prix in the afternoon.
The course is new for 2025 and matches the 2024 layout. The start and finish are located south of Nicholas Sheran School. The course is entirely on grass so spikes can be worn. There will be separate start and finish lines and a mass start for each distance.
Distances
- 2K - 1 lap on grass
- 4K - 2 laps on grass
Age categories use the competitor's age as of 31 December 2025. The 2K categories are 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15+. The 4K categories are 13 and under, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-34 and 35+. Ribbons will be awarded to first place in each male and female age category. Results, finisher certificates and award certificates will be posted online.
A high school team 4K invitational runs alongside the regular 4K. Each invited team must have at least four males or four females and the team score is based on the aggregate times of the four fastest runners of each team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
