Run For The Pumpkin 2026
Run For The Pumpkin on September 26, 2026 is a cross country event organized by Kodiaks Cross-Country Running and the indoor Track Team. The course is new for 2026, matching the 2025 layout, and starts and finishes south of Nicholas Sheran School. The route is entirely on grass so spikes may be worn. There are separate start and finish lines and each distance uses a mass start.

- 4K two laps
Age categories are based on age as of December 31, 2026. The 2K categories are 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15+. The 4K categories are 13 and under, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-34, and 35+. Ribbons are awarded to the first place finisher in each age category for male and female divisions. Results, finisher certificates, and award certificates will be posted online.
A High School XC Team 4K invitational runs in conjunction with the regular 4K. A team must have a minimum of four males or four females and the team challenge is based on the aggregate times of the four fastest runners of each team by gender.
Entry fee is $26.50 including processing. Shirts are optional at $15.50 each. Package pickup is scheduled Friday September 25 at local pickup locations including Runners Soul and the Fit Physio Clinic parking lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
