Run for the Luck of It!
Run for the Luck of It! is a community race held in Missoula at the Missoula County Fairgrounds, 1101 South St W, Missoula, MT 59802, on March 14, 2026. The event offers three racing options and open registration periods with published pricing and age tiers.

- 7 Miler
- 5K
- 400 Meter Kid's Dash
Paid participants receive chip timing, a custom designed pint glass, and post race beer plus a hot snack. Kid friendly beverages are provided for youth participants. Run Wild Missoula members are eligible for a $3.00 registration discount.
Registration opens January 7, 2026, and published fees are subject to an increase after February 12, 2026. The organizer notes that March weather in Missoula can be variable; participants should be prepared for conditions such as snow, sleet, or rain and for potentially slippery or uneven surfaces including potholes, puddles, loose sand, and gravel. Additional, weather specific recommendations will be provided in a pre race notes email prior to the event.
The event is organized by Run for the Luck of It! in association with Run Wild Missoula, which acknowledges the Salish and Kalispel people as the traditional stewards of the area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
