Event Information

Run For The Lobster 2026 is a running event part of the Johnny Miles Running Event series. It takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in Pictou, Nova Scotia, at 181 Browns Point Rd. The event is presented by the YMCA of Pictou County and is held in conjunction with the Pictou Lobster Carnival.

Registration and Policy

The registration fee is $40.00, plus tax and processing fees, from November 12 to June 28. It increases to $45, plus tax and fees, from June 30 to July 4. There are no refunds or deferrals for future events.

Race Kit Pickup and Inclusions

Race kit pickup is at the event site on race day from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The race kit includes a running hat, a race bib, an Atlantic Chip timed event, a finisher's medal, free photos, post-race Subway sandwiches and Tim Hortons items.
