Johnny Miles Weekend 2026
Johnny Miles Weekend 2026 is a running event in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia on Sunday June 21, 2026. The event is presented by the YMCA of Pictou County and is based at New Glasgow Town Hall, 111 Provost Street. The organizers describe a mainly flat, scenic loop course with support along the route. The race kit includes a personalized race bib, a dry fit running hat, Atlantic chip timing, a finishing medal, snacks and refreshments after the race, free race photos, and age group awards. Dry fit shirts are available for an additional fee of $12 plus tax; the cut-off date to purchase shirts is June 1. Race kit pick up is at Glasgow Square, 155 Riverside Parkway, New Glasgow, on Saturday June 14 and Sunday June 15. The Michelin Youth 5K follows the 5 km route and is offered with student pricing; youth under 10 are encouraged to run with a registered participant aged 16 or older. Registration fees are listed as $45 plus tax and processing fees for the early period and $50 plus tax and processing fees for the later period. No refunds or deferrals are permitted.
