Johnny Miles Weekend 2026
The Johnny Miles Weekend is a running event held in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Presented by the YMCA of Pictou County, the event features courses certified by Athletics Canada. The routes consist of mainly flat, scenic loops starting from the New Glasgow Town Hall.
Participants can choose from a variety of distances:
- 5 km (including a Michelin Youth challenge for those aged 18 and under)
- 10 km (a single loop course)
- Half Marathon (a flat two-loop course)
Registered runners receive a race kit that includes a personalized race bib, a dry-fit running hat, Atlantic Chip timing, and a finishing medal. Post-race snacks and refreshments are provided, and participants have access to free race photos. Age group awards are presented following the competitions.
