The Run for the Kids Challenge 2026 is a three-race series in Melbourne, FL (32935) with race dates on January 24, February 21, and February 28, 2026. The series combines three 5K races into a 15K three-race challenge. The three races are the Tooth Trot 5K on January 24, the Brevard PALS 5K Run/Walk for Autism Awareness on February 21, and the Brianna Marie Foundation 5K on February 28. Proceeds benefit three Brevard-based organizations that provide funding, resources, and assistance for children and families. Race management and timing services for the series are provided by Running Zone Race Management.

Entries and awards

The series offers the following entry categories and prices, with age eligibility noted: Adult Individual Registration $80 (ages 18+), Child Individual Registration $65 (ages 17 and under), Adult Virtual Registration $80 (ages 18+), and Child Virtual Registration $65 (ages 17 and under). Each listed event shows 90 spots remaining and registration ends January 22, 2026. All race series registrants receive finisher medals, and special awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd combined 3-race time in male and female categories.
