Run for the Kids Challenge 2026
The Run for the Kids Challenge 2026 is a three-race series in Melbourne, FL (32935). The series takes place on January 24, February 21, and February 28, 2026. The three races together total 15K, made up of three separate 5K events: Tooth Trot (January 24), Brevard PALS 5K Run/Walk for Autism Awareness (February 21), and Brianna Marie Foundation 5K (February 28).
Format and registration
The series offers in-person and virtual registration for adults and children. Listed entry options include adult and child individual registrations and adult and child virtual registrations. Entry prices shown are $80 for adult series registration and $65 for child series registration after discounts; registration for listed events closes January 22, 2026. Each listed event shows 100 spots available and age eligibility is noted as 18+ for adults and 17 and under for children. Virtual registrants will receive the Series Finisher Medal by mail at the end of March.
Charitable purpose and awards
All proceeds will benefit three Brevard-based organizations that provide funding and assistance for children and families. Series registrants receive finisher medals, and special combined awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on the combined three-race time in male and female categories.
