Run for the Home Team 5k at Waldschänke Ciders + Coffee
Run for the Home Team is a 5k event taking place on September 19, 2026, with the start and finish at Waldschänke Ciders + Coffee in Denver, Colorado. The course is untimed and uses an open public route; roads will not be closed and participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws. The route is planned to begin and end at the cidery and will be marked with arrows and supported by volunteers.
All participants receive one free craft cider at the finish from Waldschänke Ciders and may choose a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal swag item from the Colorado Brewery Running Series. Additional details include a limited registration size based on the taproom capacity, a rain or shine policy, and no bag check on site. Participants must bring a valid ID; attendees must be 21 to receive alcoholic cider while underage attendees will receive a token for a non alcoholic beverage. Dogs and strollers are allowed on the course with care and caution. Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise will be available. Public parking is available and public transit may be an option.
