Run for the Home Team 5k : Waldschänke Ciders + Coffee, Denver
The Run for the Home Team 5k is an untimed, community running event scheduled for September 19, 2026, at Waldschänke Ciders + Coffee in Denver (4100 Jason Street, Denver, CO 80211). The route is open to local streets and sidewalks and is designed to start and end at the cidery. The course will be marked with arrows and supported by volunteers.
All participants receive a free local craft cider at the finish, and a choice of a collector’s pint glass or a seasonal Brewery Running Series swag item. Registered participants also have a chance to win event prizes and will have access to onsite activities such as live music, games, and vendor giveaways. Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise will be available for purchase at the event.
This event operates rain or shine. Roads will remain open during the course, so participants must follow traffic laws and exercise caution. Dogs and strollers are permitted on the course but attendees should consider safety and suitability for their companions. There is no bag check. A valid photo ID is required to receive alcoholic cider; underage participants will receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage. A portion of event proceeds supports local nonprofits.
