Run for the Green Trail Run
Run for the Green Trail Run takes place on March 14, 2026 in Landen-Deerfield Park, Maineville, Ohio. The event is the first race in the 2026 Dirt Days Trail Series and is hosted by Deerfield Township. Event options listed by the organizer include a Run, a Walk and volunteer opportunities.
The advertised course is about 3.5 miles and runs on mostly densely wooded, winding dirt and mud trails within the park. The terrain includes relatively flat sections, hills with elevation changes up to 50 feet, and two calf-deep creek crossings. The organizer notes that actual mileage may vary. Chip timing is used with disposable chips attached to bibs. Overall male and female winners will be recognized and age group awards will be presented for the top finishers in each division. Door prizes will be drawn at random and winners must be present.
Additional event details state that ample free parking is available at the park, long sleeve event T shirts are offered for a fee with pre-registration, dogs are not permitted, and there are no refunds. Registration is managed online only and electronic race day check in and number pick up occur at the venue. The event is listed as USATF sanctioned.
