Event overview
The Run for the Fallen at Merced College is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 3600 M Street, Merced, CA 95348. The event includes memorial activities and a short ceremony to honor local fallen service members held before the races. The start and finish are located near the main lawn where the Field of Honor is displayed.

- 400 m Kids Race (age 10 and under)
- 5K Run/Walk (free, no t-shirt)
- 10K Run (free, no t-shirt)

Logistics and awards
All 5K and 10K participants are chip-timed. Awards of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are available for male and female competitors in these age groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Commemorative t-shirts will be sold on race day for $25 while supplies last, with proceeds donated to the Merced Field of Honor.
