Run For The Blue Dallas 2026
Run For The Blue Dallas is held on July 11, 2026 to support fallen and injured law enforcement officers and their families. The event was founded in response to the July 7, 2016 ambush that resulted in multiple officers killed and injured. Donations raised at the event go directly to the Blue Guardian Foundation, a Dallas based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial assistance to officers and families facing loss of income, serious injury, life threatening illness, or other catastrophic events.
The event takes place at Trinity Groves and uses the Trinity Levee Trail. The course runs along paved trails with some unpaved sections and offers views of the Dallas skyline and the Margaret Hunt Hill and Margaret McDermott Bridges. Walkers and runners are welcome and the course will remain open for one hour. Ceremonies honoring fallen and injured officers are included in the program.
