Run For The Blue Dallas 2026
Run For The Blue Dallas takes place on July 11, 2026 at Trinity Groves, Singleton Boulevard, Dallas, TX. The event was founded in response to the July 7, 2016 ambush and is organized to support fallen and injured law enforcement officers and their families. Ceremonies honoring those affected will be part of the event.
The event features multiple participation options:
- 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk
- 5K Run / Walk
- 10K (new for 2026)
- Virtual participant option
Race entry is free for the 1 Mile and 5K and includes a race bib. Participants may add chip timing for a fee and may purchase event merchandise. The 10K is a paid distance and its fee includes a bib and chip timing. Virtual participants pay a fee and receive their bib and any purchased merchandise by shipment; virtual packets ordered after June 11 will arrive after the event date.
Fundraising supports the Blue Guardian Foundation, a Dallas based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial assistance to officers and families facing work related illness, serious injury, loss of income, or other catastrophic events. The event relies on volunteers; available roles include packet pickup, registration, water stops, course marshals, finish line support, and cleanup.
