Event overview
The Run For the Ages 10K Trail Chase is a trail running event held on June 28, 2026 in Nolde Forest, Cumru Township, Berks County, near Reading, PA. The race uses an age-graded start system with staggered waves based on 5-year age groups and gender, using handicaps derived from the World Masters Association. The event is limited to 250 entries. The entry fee is $35 and race swag is guaranteed for those registered by June 1. Race-day registration is allowed if the entry limit has not been reached. The organizer holds the event in rain or other inclement weather and may delay the start for extreme conditions.
Course and logistics
The course is a well-marked 10K over trails in Nolde Forest, starting near the Environmental Education Center and finishing near the Nolde Mansion. Most trails are wide enough for passing and the course includes some rocky sections and brief off-trail sections. Two water stops are provided. Parking near the mansion is very limited; carpooling is encouraged and volunteers will direct parking.
Awards and other notes
Top ten overall finishers plus the fastest uncorrected time receive awards made by Nolde Forest Pottery. Age-group awards and medals may be given by participation level; team awards are available for groups of three or more. Results are posted online within 1-2 days. Headphone use is discouraged.
