Deena Andrus Memorial: Run For the Ages 10k Trail Chase
Deena Andrus Memorial: Run For the Ages is a trail running event held in Nolde Forest near Reading, Pennsylvania. The event is a 10k trail race on forest trails at the Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center, 2910 New Holland Rd, Reading, PA 19607. A portion of proceeds supports the Friends of Nolde Forest, a nonprofit that helps maintain the forest.
The race uses an age graded start system. Runners receive head starts based on age and gender, with wave starts determined from World Masters Association age-grading corrections and comparisons with local race results. Waves alternate between sexes so that top finishers from multiple waves are expected to finish near the same time. This format gives top performers in older age groups a legitimate opportunity to place highly overall.
Online registration has a capacity limit of 250 entries and closes on June 12, 2026. Entry fees differ by date: the fee is $30 through June 7 with a guaranteed race swag offering, and $35 thereafter until entries are full or the race occurs. A course map and elevation chart are provided for the route. The event is organized by the local running club and is held annually in Nolde Forest.
