4th Annual Run for Tacos
The fourth annual Run for Tacos is a community run/walk held in Bayard, New Mexico, on September 19, 2026. The event is organized by the Cobre Cross Country team and takes place along the Santa Clara path, with activities centered in front of Cobre High School.
Packet pickup is scheduled for September 19 in the Cobre High parking lot beginning at 7:30 am. Registration opens June 21, 2026, and closes September 18, 2026; a registration fee of $30 is listed. Race day registration is available, though a chip time cannot be guaranteed for late registrants.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group and for the top male and top female finishers. Age groups for both male and female competitors are: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-79.
