Event Details
The Run For Sight 5K is an in-person running and walking event held in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on Labor Day. The 2026 edition will be the 37th year of the race. It takes place at Covington Woods Park on Covington Avenue.
The event includes four options:
- 5K run
- 5K Wheelchair event
- 2 Mile walk
- Kids Bubble Run for participants aged 12 and under
The Bowling Green Noon Lions Club hosts the event. GGC Eyes and Clinic Optical is the presenting sponsor. All proceeds from the event benefit children's and adults' eyesight conservation efforts in Bowling Green and Warren County, as well as other community organizations.
This race is part of the Bowling Green Running Club Grand Prix Series. The event is also connected to two other local races: The Medical Center 10K Classic and the BG26.2 Full and Half Marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
