Event overview
Run For Ryan 5K Run/Walk is the 5th annual community race presented by the Ryan Clark Scholarship. The event is a 5K run/walk held on March 14, 2026 in Evans, GA at Lakeside High School, 533 Blue Ridge Drive, Evans, GA 30809. Proceeds will go to the 2026 Ryan Clark Scholarship and Community Service Award. The scholarship program awards three scholarships to high school students each year and was founded in memory of a student who died during the Virginia Tech events of April 16, 2007.
Registration and logistics
Registration includes a timing chip and a bib. T-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed before February 23. Pricing tiers listed by the organizer are:
- Adult (18+): $30, $35 with t-shirt; after February 23 $35 without t-shirt, $40 with t-shirt (t-shirts not guaranteed)
- Child (<18): $25, $30 with t-shirt; after February 23 $30 without t-shirt, $35 with t-shirt (t-shirts not guaranteed)
- Virtual 5K: $40 with shirt and shipping included; first batch of shirts will be shipped on February 28, 2026, with a second batch shipped after the event
Packet pick-up is scheduled for March 13, 2026 at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Furys Ferry Road #107, Augusta, GA 30907.
