Run for Ryan 5K Run/Walk 2026

The Run for Ryan 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held in Evans, Georgia. The 2026 edition marks the fifth year of this community gathering, which takes place at Lakeside High School. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Ryan Clark Scholarship and Community Service Award, an initiative that provides scholarships to three high school students each year.

Participants in the in-person event can choose between running or walking the 5 km distance. The course is chip-timed, and registered participants receive a bib and a timing chip. For those unable to attend the physical event at Lakeside High School, a virtual 5 km option is available, allowing participants to complete the distance from a location of their choosing.

Awards are presented to the first and second place finishers in the adult male and adult female categories for participants aged 18 and older. Registration includes options with or without a commemorative t-shirt, though shirt availability is only guaranteed for those who register before late February. Packet pick-up is organized on the day before the race at a local running store in Augusta.
