Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k - Durham, NC
The 12th Annual Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for October 4, 2026 at Solite Park on the American Tobacco Trail in Durham, North Carolina. The event coincides with Ostomy Awareness Day and intends to raise funds for the United Ostomy Associations of America, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Event distances include:
- 5K Open entry
- 5K Ostomate entry
- Kids dash for ages 2 to 8 at the start/finish area
Registration opens May 17, 2026. For the 5K events registration closes July 31, 2026. Published entry fees are $30 for the 5K events and $20 for the kids dash. Packet pick-up and a silent auction are part of the event day program. Team options are available for participants to create or join a race group.
Fundraising is encouraged: raising $150 or more leads to a refund of the registration fee. Additional fundraising incentive levels are listed as Empower at $250 or more and Champion at $450 or more; awards for these levels are noted as TBD.
