Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k : 12th Annual
The event takes place on October 4, 2026 at Solite Park on the American Tobacco Trail in Durham, North Carolina. Proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides support, education and advocacy for people living with an ostomy or continent diversion.
The event program includes multiple short-distance races and a youth dash. Distances:
- 5K Open
- 5K Ostomate
- 50 meter dash for ages 2 to 8
Registration details listed by the organizer include an opening date of May 17, 2026. For the 5K events registration closes July 31, 2026; the kids dash registration remains open through the event date. Standard registration fees noted are $30.00 for 5K entries and $20.00 for the kids dash.
Fundraising is integrated with registration. Individual fundraisers who raise $150 or more are eligible for a registration fee refund.
