This event is a single 5 km certified road race in Gondola Point, Quispamsis, presented as one of seven races that raise funds for the Kidney Foundation. The event is run in a no frills format: no t‑shirts, no medals, and no chip timing; light refreshments are provided at the finish.
The certified course starts at the corner of Gondola Point Rd and Vincent Rd and follows Gondola Point Rd toward the ferry. The route is point to point with mostly downhill terrain for the first 2 km, followed by some small ups and downs to the finish. There is ample parking at the finish; participants are encouraged to arrange a buddy system or carpool to return to the start because no return transportation is provided.
A points system covers the seven-race series, with small prizes awarded after the final race using the same points and tiebreaking procedures as RunNB. Roads remain open to traffic during the event, and registration is capped at 50 runners. Race bib pick-up is held at Fairvale Elementary School between 7:45 and 8:45, after which participants are guided to the start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
