Event Information
Rompin' Rockwood is an annual trail race to be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Rockwood Park in Saint John, New Brunswick. This will be the 9th edition of the event.
Available Distances
Participants can choose from three distances:
- 11 km
- 26 km
- 52 km (which is two loops of the 26 km course)
Course Characteristics
The course is primarily technical single-track trail, with some sections of crushed gravel and very little pavement. The terrain is rarely flat, though it does not feature large climbs.
Registration and Policies
Registration is online only and closes on Friday, May 15, 2026. There is no race day registration, no deferrals, and no refunds. Transfers to another runner or to a different distance are available until May 15 for a fee.
Early bird pricing is available until March 28, 2026. The advertised price for each distance includes all mandatory fees. A portion of the registration includes a $5 donation to a local charity.
Logistics and Services
All participants will receive an athlete guide prior to race day. The registration package also includes a swag bag, two fully stocked aid stations, and a post-race BBQ. Pets are not permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
