Run for Peace 2026
Run for Peace is scheduled for June 13, 2026 at Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Oregon. The event offers multiple ways to participate including 5 km and 10 km distances and accepts participants who walk, run, roll, or stroll.
The event is presented by the Palmo Center for Peace and Education and is held in honor of the historic visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Eugene in 2013. Organizers provide options for individual registration and for forming teams; the first person to register a team name establishes that team for later registrants.
Packet pickup is available at Eugene Running Company, 116 Oakway Center, on Friday, June 12, 2026, and additional packets will be available on the day of the event. Course maps are provided by the organizers for reference.
Onsite activities include the Peace Place with community-focused offerings such as prayer flag printing, music, and other community elements during the event.
