Run for Paws 5K - Benefiting the Lantz Tucker Memorial Fund
Run for Paws is an annual fundraising event on October 10, 2026 at Frontier Park in Olathe, Kansas. The event includes an in-person 5K, a virtual 5K, and a separate dog registration option. Registration fees listed for the events are $40.00 for the in-person and virtual 5K entries and $20.00 for the dog registration.
The fundraiser supports the Lantz Tucker Memorial Fund, which assists pets in urgent need of medical care by paying veterinary bills. The fund reports that since opening in April 2020 it has donated over $402,000 and helped keep 1,006 pets in their homes. The event states that 100 percent of money raised by this run is used to pay veterinary costs.
Packet pickup is scheduled for October 9, 2026 at Shelter 1 at Frontier Park from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Packet pickup on race morning is also available, with packets available as early as 8:00 am. Dogs may attend the in-person event if they are dog and people friendly; dog registrations include a doggie t-shirt.
