About the race
Run for Newmarket is a charity running event held at Fairy Lake Park in Newmarket, Ontario. In its 4th annual edition on Oct 5, 2025, organized by Mercy 4 Mankind (AMYA), it raises funds for Southlake Foundation. The event offers three distances: a 5K Run, a 3K Run, and a 1K Family Fun Walk, attracting both serious runners and casual participants.
Runners and walkers from all backgrounds come with their families to enjoy the day’s festivities at Fairy Lake Park. Registration includes a free T-shirt with the 5K and 3K options; the 1K Walk is free (shirts available for purchase). A post-event lunch and an awards presentation close the day.
