Run For Nature at Chester Zoo
Run For Nature at Chester Zoo takes place on Sunday 20 September 2026 and raises funds to help protect tigers. The event gives participants the opportunity to run through the zoo and the surrounding estate, with the route starting in the zoo and passing the Conservation Breeding Management Area.

- 10k
- Kids one mile Zoom
The course is described as largely flat and fast. Runners receive free zoo entry and supporters can get 25% discounted zoo entry on the day. Finishers receive a medal. There are fundraising bonuses and prizes, a cuddly tiger plush for runners who raise over £65, and access to an events village.
The 5k was introduced in 2025 and returned for 2026. Previous Run For Nature activity in March 2026 helped raise over £175,000 to support UK wildlife. Funds raised at the September 2026 event are directed to tiger conservation and the zoo's conservation work. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
