Run for Life - Porterville (2026)
Run for Life at Granite Hills High School in Porterville is a community fundraising event organized by the Exchange Club of Porterville. Proceeds benefit the Roger S. Good Cancer Treatment Center at Sierra View Medical Center and support cancer support groups, annual prostate screenings, survivor celebrations, health fairs, community outreach initiatives, and educational resources for patients and families.
The event program includes a short-course run and a short-course walk, post-event food and beverages provided by local groups, a trainer-led warm-up, and participant items. Registered participants receive a short-sleeve event t-shirt and a finisher’s medal; these items are guaranteed for those registered by August 20 and are subject to availability afterwards.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in both the run and the walk across the following age groups: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Additional awards are presented to the first overall male and female finishers.
