Run for L'Arche 2026
The Run for L'Arche is a fundraising event held in Calgary at St. Patrick's Island. Starting and finishing at Confluence Plaza, the event supports L'Arche Calgary and its mission to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities. The following distances are available:
- 1 km (Obstacle Course & Fun Run)
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
Participants in the 5 km, 10 km, and half-marathon events receive a performance running shirt and a finisher medal. Those taking part in the 1 km and 3 km events receive a cotton t-shirt and a finisher medal. All registered participants are provided with a complimentary coffee or tea and a fresh pastry. Awards are presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in every distance.
Professional electronic timing is provided by Startline Timing for all events except the 1 km fun run. Participants can request distance adjustments prior to the race day without penalty. Race packages can be collected in person at designated running stores in Calgary during the week leading up to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
