Run for L'Arche
Run for L’Arche is an annual community fundraiser organized by L’Arche Calgary to support people with intellectual disabilities and the organisation’s programs. The 2026 edition was the event’s 16th year and supports independent living programs and community belonging.
The 2026 Run for L’Arche took place on April 11, 2026 at Confluence Plaza, St. Patrick’s Island. That year about 470 runners registered and the event raised more than $60,000. The title sponsor for the 2026 event was Hudson Advisory Group : ScotiaMcLeod, Scotia Wealth Management.
Routes for the event follow pathways along the Bow River and begin and finish at Confluence Plaza, St. Patrick’s Island (1300 12 St NE, Calgary). Distances offered in 2026 included:
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half marathon
All proceeds from Run for L’Arche support L’Arche Calgary’s programs. The event brings together participants, donors, volunteers, and sponsors to fund services for more than 100 people assisted through L’Arche Calgary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
