About the race
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County organizes the Run For Kids' Sake 5K at John A. Antoline Memorial Park, 2500 Marshall Road, Monaca, PA 15061. The event includes a family kids' fun run and a timed 5K run/walk on the same day.
Event distances and formats:
- 725 yards Kids & Family Monster Mash Mad Dash for age 10 and under
- 5K timed Run/Walk open to runners, joggers, and walkers
Strollers and leashed pets are allowed on course. Medals will be awarded to the top three 5K finishers in each age group. Kids participating in the Monster Mash Mad Dash will not receive an event shirt.
Registration details are provided in advance and on race day. Pre-registration fee for the 5K is $30; day-of registration is $40 for adults. The Monster Mash Mad Dash is free for children age 10 and under. Participants who register by October 2 receive a Run For Kids' Sake 5K shirt. Packet pickup will occur at check-in on race day.
Proceeds support general Big Brothers Big Sisters operations in Beaver County, including volunteer recruitment, training and match support, programming, and outreach to families and school districts.
