Run for Hope! Walk in Unity
Run for Hope! Walk in Unity is an interfaith community event on November 14, 2026, at Towne Lake in McKinney, Texas. It brings together more than ten faith communities, local leaders, and nonprofit partners to raise funds for food, health, education, and rental assistance for vulnerable neighbors through Collin County's NeighborHub at McKinney.
The program includes a 5K race and two 1 mile unity walks, accompanied by a live band, food trucks, balloon making, cotton candy, a photo booth, and games. The 5K entry includes a chip timed bib and a Run for Hope t-shirt. There is a paid 1 mile walk option that includes a t-shirt and a separate free 1 mile walk option that does not include a t-shirt. Paid entries have a registration fee of $35; the free walk option has no fee.
