Run for Hope Walk in Unity

Run for Hope Walk in Unity is an interfaith community event held at Bonnie Wenk Park in McKinney, Texas on November 14, 2026. The event brings together 10+ faith communities, local leaders, and nonprofit partners to raise funds for food, health, education, and rental assistance for vulnerable neighbors through NeighborHub. The event also includes a Unity Fest on site.

There are multiple participation options and fee choices. The 5K run is chip timed and includes a Run for Hope T shirt with the registration fee of $35. Two 1 mile Unity Walk options are offered: one includes a T shirt for a $25 fee, and a free entry option does not include a T shirt. Registration opens June 12, 2026 and closes November 14, 2026.

The course for both the run and the walks starts and ends on the south side of Bonnie Wenk Park, where food, activities, and games are available. The 1 mile activity is described as a multicultural and interfaith Unity Walk around the park.
