Run for Hope! Walk in Unity
The second annual Run for Hope! Walk in Unity is an interfaith event held at Bonnie Wenk Park in McKinney, Texas. The event brings together more than ten faith communities, local leaders, and nonprofit partners to raise funds for Collin County's Neighbor Hub at McKinney. Proceeds support food, health, education, and rental assistance for vulnerable neighbors.
The event program includes a chip timed 5K run and one mile unity walks. The 5K course starts and ends on the south side of Bonnie Wenk Park where food, activities, and games are available. Other offerings listed for the day include a live band, food trucks, balloon making, cotton candy, a photo booth, and games.
